Supported Independent Living (SIL): Essential Practice
Supported Independent Living (SIL): Essential Practice is practical, plain-English training for NDIS support workers, team leaders and supervisors working in shared or individual SIL households. Across 6 lessons you’ll learn what SIL funding covers, how the roster of care and overnight support funding work, the SIL-specific Practice Standards and worker screening obligations, how to support person-centred living arrangements, how to manage shared living dynamics, reporting and documentation obligations, and safeguarding considerations specific to SIL settings.
This is non-accredited training. It supports, but does not replace, accredited qualifications, your organisation’s own policies, your induction and supervision, or guidance from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. For anything outside routine practice, seek qualified advice.
