Trauma-Informed Care Under the NDIS
Trauma-Informed Care Under the NDIS is practical, plain-English training for NDIS support workers, team leaders and supervisors. Across 6 lessons you’ll learn what trauma-informed care means, how to recognise trauma responses, the six trauma-informed principles used across Australian disability services, how to avoid re-traumatisation in everyday support, trauma-informed communication, and how to recognise and respond to vicarious trauma in yourself and colleagues.
This is non-accredited training. It supports, but does not replace, accredited qualifications, clinical or psychological advice, your organisation’s own policies, or guidance from the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. For anything outside routine practice, seek qualified advice.
